Match Madness
Every year, Partnership for Better Health supports the nonprofit community through its Match Madness campaign, and we are grateful to participate in this opportunity. Throughout the month of March, you can donate on our behalf through Partnership for Better Health, and your gift will be matched. Both your donation and the matching funds will be awarded to YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County at the end of the month. This is a great opportunity to maximize your impact in support of survivors. Robin's Way
Robin’s Way is a memorial campaign established in honor of a former Executive Director of YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County, whose passion for supporting sexual assault survivors helped guide the agency for many years. Following her passing, YWCA created Robin’s Way with the guidance of her friends, Greg Gunn and Jewel Cooper, to continue the work she cared so deeply about. This fund supports services for survivors while keeping Robin’s legacy, values, and memory alive through the ongoing impact of her work.

Each holiday season, YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County’s Circle of Angels campaign invites our community to come together in the spirit of giving. Through this campaign, supporters can honor loved ones while helping provide comfort, safety, and support to survivors and families in our community. Each angel represents a meaningful gift that helps sustain critical services during a time of year when compassion and connection matter most. Circle of Angels is a way to share hope, celebrate generosity, and make a lasting impact throughout the holiday season.

Become a Circle of Giving DonorYWCA Carlisle and Cumberland County’s (YWCACCC) impact in Cumberland County has never been so important. The needs of our community continue to evolve and grow, and we continue to ask “how can we help?” Because staying in-tune with our neighbors’ and communities’ needs is what matters most.
YWCACCC is the sole provider of crisis intervention and advocacy services to survivors of sexual assault/rape for all of Cumberland County. All of our crisis services are free to survivors and their non-offending family members. Beginning in 2021, we also took on the task of handling crisis services for survivors of human trafficking in Cumberland County in partnership with law enforcement, district attorney’s office, and Child Advocacy Centers. We also provide a 24-hour hotline, school and community-based prevention and awareness programs, counseling, Sexual Violence Protection Orders petitions, and run support groups for survivors. We support survivors at hospitals and emergency rooms, at court, at the DA’s office, at police investigations, at the Child Advocacy Center, and anywhere they need us. YWCACCC uses an supportive model to assist victims in the process of recovery from the trauma of sexual assault, utilizing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive methods of care of counseling.
