About this program
L.E.A.D. is a teen leadership and empowerment group for girls in grades 6th through 8th in Cumberland County. Throughout the year, L.E.A.D. will focus on personal values and boundaries, developing healthy body image and relationships, social and cultural issues as it relates to relevant events in our community, diversity and inclusion, and the development of skills to be effective change agents in their communities.
L.E.A.D. is designed for girls in grades 6th through 8th in Cumberland County.
Dates + Time
L.E.A.D. begins on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, during YWCA Carlisle’s Week Without Violence. The following dates is the schedule for the L.E.A.D. program during the fall 2018 semester: Oct. 17, 2018 (Kick-Off!), Nov. 7, 2018, Nov. 21, 2018, Dec. 5, 2018, and Dec. 19, 2018. L.E.A.D. is held twice a month on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at YWCA Carlisle.
L.E.A.D. is held at YWCA Carlisle, located at 301 G Street Carlisle, PA 17013.
