A leadership development program for teen girls in Cumberland County

About this program

L.E.A.D. Overview:

L.E.A.D. (Lead. Empower. Advocate. Develop.) is a leadership program designed for girls in 6th through 8th grade in Cumberland County. Throughout the year, L.E.A.D. will focus on character development and effective teamwork in order to prepare participants to be change agents in their communities. L.E.A.D. participants will be exposed to local activism through community service across Cumberland County, and will complete a leadership project over the course of the year.

Participants:

L.E.A.D. is designed for girls in grades 6th through 8th in Cumberland County.

Date + Time:

L.E.A.D. is held two to three times a month on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at YWCA Carlisle from August to August. The summer session of L.E.A.D. runs on the following dates: June 12, 2019, June 26, 2019, July 10, 2019, July 24, 2019, and August 5, 2019.

L.E.A.D. is held at YWCA Carlisle, located at 301 G Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
