About this program
YWCA Carlisle’s Girl Power! Reads is an initiative designed to connect girls in 7th through 10th grades with essays and stories about empowered women. In fall 2020, we will be reading and discussing What I told My Daughter by Nina Tassler.
The program is offered to middle and high school aged girls in 7th through 10th grades attending within Cumberland County, and is provided at no cost for families.
Date + Time:
Girl Power! Reads meets at Square Bean Carlisle (25 W High St, Carlisle, PA 17013) twice a month on Mondays from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Dates will be provided for our next session at registration. Please note that selected dates may be subject to change depending on Square Bean’s policy. YWCA Carlisle will provide sufficient notice of a date change.
Registration for the fall session of Girl Power! Reads will open in August. Please complete the registration form and return it to YWCA Carlisle by or before the indicated date.
