No, we are two separate entities both serving the Carlisle area.

No, we do not provide daily childcare, but we do have preschool programs for ages 2 through PreK. Look for more information under Preschool.

Can only females join YWCA Carlisle?
While YWCA Carlisle is managed by an all-female Board of Directors, virtually all YW programs and services are open to men and women, boys and girls. The YWCA is a women’s empowerment movement. Anyone who believes in our mission and wants to help eliminate racism and empower women and girls is welcome to join our cause.
Is the YWCA an organization with a religious mission?
No. The Mission of the YWCA is to empower women and girls and to eliminate racism. It can best be described as an agency with a Mission of social justice.
